Multica Crew Avatars
SVG avatars for the 12 Multica crew agents (10 executor + 2 proposer). Brand-token-accurate, hand-written, version-controlled.
Pending:
tess.svg(Tess — Test Engineer, the 10th executor) is not yet authored. Her palette color, glyph, and illustrated prompt still need to be defined below. Until then,docs/guides/multica-agent-crew.mdrenders her table row without an avatar.
How to use
- In Multica: drag each SVG into the agent's avatar field on
multica.longwoodlabs.com/objectuve/agents. Multica renders them at 32–64 px in the sidebar / board, and 128 px+ on agent detail pages. - In docs: reference inline as
from this directory. From elsewhere, adjust the relative depth:../assets/crew-avatars/maggie.svgfrom 1 level deep,../../assets/crew-avatars/maggie.svgfrom 2 levels deep, etc. - In Storybook / marketing: reference from
docs/assets/crew-avatars/<name>.svg. SVGs scale cleanly to any size.
Design system
Palette
Each agent gets a distinct color drawn from (or extending) the brand family:
| Agent | Background | Letter | Glyph color |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maggie | brand gradient #177bbb → #05cbfc | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Orion | indigo #4338ca | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Desi | accent orange #f28529 | #1a202c | #1a202c |
| Codi | emerald #059669 | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Riley | gold #fcc419 | #1a202c | #1a202c |
| Roy | slate #475569 | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Dave | crimson #dc2626 | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Vicki | teal #0d9488 | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Dori | soft purple #9333ea | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Penny | rose #ec4899 | #ffffff | #ffffff |
| Sage | deep navy #1e3a8a | #ffffff | #ffffff |
Letter color is dark on orange/gold (Desi, Riley) for WCAG contrast — those backgrounds fail the 3:1 minimum against white text. Everywhere else is white.
Monogram + glyph
- Monogram: single letter,
Outfit(with Helvetica Neue / Arial fallback), 700 weight, font-size 240 on a 512×512 canvas. Vertically centered. - Glyph: small role icon in the bottom-right corner (~80×80 area, positioned around
(380, 380)), letter-color matched, opacity ~0.95.
Glyph rationale
| Agent | Glyph | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Maggie | 3 connected nodes | Routing graph — she dispatches between agents |
| Orion | constellation (Orion's belt) | Her namesake; planning patterns above the work |
| Desi | paint palette | Designer with multiple swatches |
| Codi | </> brackets | Universal coder shorthand |
| Riley | git branch (Y-shape) | Branches and PRs are her domain |
| Roy | magnifier | Reviewer's lens |
| Dave | bug | Debugger's classic emblem |
| Vicki | checkmark | Verification, ship approval |
| Dori | open book with pages | Documenter's tool |
| Penny | lightbulb | Product proposer — ideation lens |
| Sage | stacked architecture layers | System architect — tiered systems thinking |
Canvas
All SVGs are 512×512 with a full-bleed circle. Renders crisply at any size; works as a circular avatar by default in most UIs (no inset needed).
Versioning
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| 2026-04-25 | Initial v1 — hand-written SVG monograms with role glyphs |
| 2026-06-07 | Crew grew to 12 (Tess added as 10th executor); tess.svg + her palette/glyph/prompt still pending |
When you iterate (e.g., commission illustrated versions, change a color), update this table and the affected SVG.
Future: illustrated character avatars
If/when you want to commission illustrated portraits (Midjourney, claude.ai image gen, ChatGPT, an actual illustrator), use the prompts below. Each prompt is calibrated to the agent's role + the brand's "coach who's also a friend" tone — warm, modern, capable, never corporate.
Common visual requirements (apply to all of them):
Modern flat illustration, 1:1 aspect ratio, head-and-shoulders portrait centered on a solid color background. Clean vector aesthetic with subtle gradient depth — think Linear, Stripe, or Notion's marketing illustrations. Friendly, capable expression. Inclusive, anonymous-feeling style (avoid photorealistic faces). Background color = the agent's hex from the palette table above. No text in the image.
Per-agent prompts:
Maggie — Manager
Background: blue-cyan gradient
#177bbb → #05cbfc. A warm, organized dispatcher with kind, attentive eyes. Slight smile — patient, not weary. Wearing a simple modern collared top in white or pale gray. Holding a clipboard or tablet, lightly suggesting routing/triage. Glasses optional. Should feel like the friend who keeps the group chat alive without being bossy.
Orion — Planner
Background: deep indigo
#4338ca. A thoughtful, slightly older planner-type with calm, deliberate eyes. Looking slightly off-camera, mid-thought. Wearing a textured sweater or button-up. Optional: a single small constellation pattern in the negative space near their shoulder, suggesting their namesake. Should feel like a chess player reading three moves ahead.
Desi — Designer
Background: warm accent orange
#f28529. A playful, expressive creative — bright eyes, animated face. Mid-length hair, expressive smile. Wearing something with visual texture (denim jacket, knit, or pattern). Optional: paintbrush behind ear or color swatches in foreground. Should feel like the person who reframes every brief and makes it better.
Codi — Coder
Background: emerald green
#059669. A focused, precise coder with intelligent, calm eyes. Slight grin — enjoys their work. Modern casual: hoodie or zip-up. Optional: subtle code-bracket or terminal-cursor motif in the corner. Should feel like the engineer who quietly ships clean PRs while everyone else is debating.
Riley — Release Engineer
Background: gold
#fcc419. A practical, slightly grease-stained-vibes operator with a steady gaze and a small confident smile. Short or pulled-back hair. Wearing a utilitarian jacket or vest. Optional: a small git-branch or rocket motif. Should feel like the sysadmin who's seen every CI failure twice and isn't fazed.
Roy — Reviewer
Background: slate gray
#475569. A composed, serious reviewer with sharp, kind eyes. Short hair, clean lines. Wearing a structured shirt or blazer. Mouth set in a neutral, considered expression — not stern, just thorough. Optional: a small magnifier motif. Should feel like the senior teammate who finds the bug with one comment.
Dave — Debugger
Background: crimson
#dc2626. A scientist-type debugger with curious, intent eyes — looking slightly down at something invisible (the bug). Lab coat or rolled-up shirt sleeves. Mid-action. Optional: a small magnifier or bug-catcher motif. Should feel like the detective who's already three hypotheses deep.
Vicki — Verifier / Shipper
Background: teal
#0d9488. A confident, decisive shipper with a clear, direct gaze. Hair pulled back or short. Wearing a simple structured top. Slight smirk — has shipped a thousand things and trusts her judgment. Optional: a small checkmark motif. Should feel like the EM who runs the standup and never lets anyone over-promise.
Dori — Documenter
Background: soft purple
#9333ea. A warm, attentive writer with thoughtful eyes — the kind of person who reads carefully before responding. Reading glasses or pencil. Wearing a soft cardigan or relaxed top. Holding a notebook or with a small open-book motif. Should feel like the librarian who actually loves your weird research question.
Penny — Product Lead
Background: rose
#ec4899. A sharp, curious product strategist with bright, observant eyes and a slight grin — like someone who just spotted an opportunity. Wearing a casual blazer over a tee, or a clean knit. Holding nothing or a small notebook. Optional: a small lightbulb motif near the shoulder. Should feel like the friend who keeps suggesting features you didn't ask for but immediately want.
Sage — System Architect
Background: deep navy
#1e3a8a. A composed, methodical systems thinker with calm, focused eyes — the kind of person who maps out a problem before answering. Reading glasses, salt-and-pepper hair or short professional cut. Wearing a structured shirt or quality knit. Optional: a faint blueprint or stacked-layers motif behind one shoulder. Should feel like the senior engineer who's seen three architectural rewrites and can tell you which ones were worth it.
Iteration ideas
When you're ready to evolve the avatars:
- Animated versions. Subtle Lottie animations (subtle blink, glyph pulse on hover) for the admin dashboard.
- Light/dark mode variants. Currently optimized for either; if certain backgrounds feel washed out in dark mode, swap to slightly more saturated values.
- Themed seasons. Quarterly or holiday variants (e.g., string lights motif in December) — keeps the team feel alive.
- Profile cards. Larger illustrated avatars + role description + "currently working on" status, for an internal team page.
- Marketing site. If/when crew gets a public face on the marketing site, illustrated versions per the prompts above.
