Objectuve — Mission, Values, Strategy & Objectives
Mission
Help people stay consistent with what matters to them.
Objectuve exists to help people live more intentionally by making consistency feel rewarding. The hardest part of achieving anything isn't knowing what to do — it's staying consistent when no one is watching. Objectuve fixes this by turning daily effort into visible progress: streaks that build, XP that accumulates, badges that mark real milestones, and communities that hold you accountable.
We believe technology should serve the person using it, not extract their attention. Objectuve is designed to be opened, used, and closed — a tool for living, not a place to linger.
Tagline: Every day adds up.
Values
1. Wellbeing Over Engagement
We are an anti-social app by design. Our target session is ~10 minutes a day. We measure success by what users do when they close the app, not by how long we kept them on it. No infinite scroll, no algorithmic FOMO, no dark patterns. If a feature increases time-on-app without increasing real progress, we cut it.
2. Progress is Earned, Never Manufactured
Every metric we celebrate — streaks, XP, badges, ranks — must come from genuine effort. Gamification is our product, not decoration, and its integrity is non-negotiable. We reward consistency and real achievement, never manufactured dopamine.
3. Free Means Free
Individual users get the complete product experience at $0, forever. Personal progress should never be behind a paywall. Revenue comes from Teams (organizations) and optional Supporters (cosmetic perks only). This is non-negotiable, even as we scale.
4. Respect Over Revenue
No ads, ever. No selling user data, ever. Users own their data with full export and deletion rights. We are a Public Benefit Company — our legal structure ensures profit maximization can never override user wellbeing. We publish annual impact reports and are transparent about costs and decisions.
5. Accountability, Not Entertainment
Social features exist for one purpose: making people feel seen and supported in their pursuit of real goals. Communities, encouragements, and accountability partners drive doing, not watching. A "like" on Objectuve means "I see you doing the work."
6. Small Steps, Compounding
Our product philosophy mirrors our user philosophy. We build incrementally, ship what matters, and let consistent effort compound into something lasting. This applies to code, to product, and to the company itself.
Strategy
Who We Serve
People who have real goals they care about but struggle with consistency. They respond to progress feedback — streaks, levels, visible milestones. They want structure without complexity, community without noise, and an app that respects their time.
We are not a to-do app, a social network, a fitness tracker, or a productivity system. We are a progress engine.
How We Win
1. Anti-addictive design as a moat. In a market of attention-extracting apps, our restraint is our differentiator. Users trust us because we demonstrably put their interests first. Trust compounds; engagement tricks don't.
2. Complete gamification done right. Streaks + XP + Badges + Ranks + Levels — a unified progression system rooted in behavioral science, not dark patterns. The Duolingo model applied to all of life, not just language learning.
3. PBC commitment as brand identity. Our legal structure isn't a footnote — it's a promise. It tells users, investors, and partners that our values are enforceable, not aspirational.
4. Teams revenue funds free access. Organizations pay for team leaderboards, admin dashboards, and accountability tools. That revenue subsidizes the free individual experience, creating a sustainable model without compromising the mission.
5. AI coaching that respects boundaries. Personalized insights delivered as a coach, not an algorithm. Brief, proactive, never noisy. Labeled "Coach" in the product, because it serves the user — not the other way around.
