Taglines

Character limits drive which tagline fits each surface. LinkedIn company-page tagline caps at 120 chars; X bio caps at 160; Instagram bio at 150; Facebook Page short description at 255.

  • Long-form (LinkedIn About, Facebook About, press, ≤2,000 chars):

Software that helps you close the app and go do the thing. Public Benefit makers of Objectuve — gamified goal tracking for people who'd rather act than scroll.

  • LinkedIn tagline (≤120 chars) — canonical:

We build software that helps you close the app and go do the thing. Makers of Objectuve. (89 chars)

  • Bio-length (X / Instagram, ≤150 chars):

Makers of Objectuve — gamified goal tracking for people who'd rather act than scroll. (85 chars)

  • Ultra-short (fallback, ≤80 chars):

Gamified goal tracking for people who'd rather act than scroll. (62 chars)

One-liner (reused as og:description / twitter:description)

10 minutes a day. Streaks, check-ins, and a coach who actually pays attention. Designed to help you leave, not stay.

Source of truth: marketing_landing/index.html <meta property="og:description"> (line 13).

CTAs (must mirror landing hero)

  • Primary: "Sign up free" → https://app.objectuve.com/sign-up
  • Secondary: "See features" → https://www.objectuve.com/#features

Open Graph & Twitter Card Assets

Canonical metadata lives in marketing_landing/index.html <head> (lines 10–23). Current state:

FieldCurrent value
og:imagehttps://www.objectuve.com/images/social/og-card.png (1200×630)
twitter:cardsummary_large_image
twitter:imagehttps://www.objectuve.com/images/social/og-card.png — same as og:image

The previous 390×844 portrait OG image is resolved: og:image was wired to the 1200×630 og-card.png in commit 858d690c / PR #1649 (OBJ-1575), and twitter:image was pointed at the same asset in PR #3105 (OBJ-3660).

OG image set to produce (tracked work)

AssetSizePurpose
og/default.png1200×630Default landing page share card
og/streak-milestone.png1200×630Streak / XP progress beats
og/feature-reveal.png1200×630Weekly feature spotlight template
og/launch-countdown.png1200×630T-minus countdown beats (Summer 2026)

Store under marketing_landing/images/social/ (see og-card.pngog/default.png above, already delivered). The other three remain genuinely unbuilt. Override per-page via <meta property="og:image">.

Per-page override: /story

story.html overrides og:image/twitter:image with its own card rather than the default:

AssetSizeNotes
story-og-card.png1200×630, Rendered from story-og-card.svg via scripts/rasterize-social-covers.mjs (headless Chromium — needed for the @font-face/Google Fonts the SVG imports). The only card in this directory rendered at 1× rather than 2×: every OG consumer specifies 1200×630 and downsamples anything larger, and og-card.png — the precedent on this exact slot — is also 1×.
story-og-card.svgSource. Unlike og-card.png (no SVG source, tracked as a known gap), this card has one.

Update Checklist

Whenever you change any of the copy above, walk this list to keep surfaces in sync:

  • [ ] docs/brand/social-media-inventory.md — this doc
  • [ ] marketing_landing/index.htmlog:*, twitter:*, sameAs, hero CTAs
  • [ ] LinkedIn — About, tagline, banner
  • [ ] X — bio, header, pinned post
  • [ ] Instagram — bio, link, highlights
  • [ ] Facebook — short description, About, cover
  • [ ] Any scheduled posts referencing old copy

Voice Guardrails

When writing any social copy, verify against these before publishing:

  • Lead with a verb. "Track," "close," "build," "level up" — never "Don't miss out."
  • No FOMO framing. See orchestrating-social-rhythm skill for the mandatory anti-FOMO rule.
  • Never label product "AI". Use "Coach" in user-facing copy. (Backend naming still uses "AI".)
  • Respect the ~10 min/day frame. Posts should feel like the product: act and leave.
  • Public Benefit matters on LinkedIn / press, not on X / Instagram. Don't over-index on it in casual channels.

Full brand voice rules: brand.md.

Automated drafting: Remy (social_publisher AI Workforce employee) drafts scheduled X, LinkedIn, and Facebook posts three times a week from aggregate, de-identified sources only (shipped milestones, CHANGELOG highlights, platform-wide stats) — never per-user data. Every draft is human-approved before delivery; Remy is hard-capped at shadow autonomy and cannot be promoted. Facebook posts are link-preview only (Route A — reuse the existing og:image, no generated image); whenever facebook is in channels, Remy attaches a canonical CTA link (#features or #connect above) tagged with ?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=remy-social for click-through measurement. Instagram and the generated-image Route B are not yet in scope (deferred behind OG-image asset work — see below); see docs/product/og-image-facebook-scope.md for the full decision record. See rails_api/lib/tasks/ai_workforce.rake and the AI Workforce feature doc for the full config.
